Pilates & Strength Training
Although I specialize in Pilates, I strongly believe in MOVEMENT above any fitness specialty. Because of that, I offer a variety of styles of classes to help meet your goals and personal preferences. You can choose from traditional Pilates classes to hybrid HIIT, Strength Training, Mobility classes, and cross-training for athletes.
Whether you are just starting your fitness journey or are a seasoned athlete, there is something here for you.
Fitness Screenings
Every in-person program starts with an in-depth fitness screening. This screening will assess your goals, your movement patters, your mobility and flexibility, and your muscle imbalances. From there we create a tailored fitness program designed to meet your needs and your goals— whether that be weight-loss, cross-training for your sport, increased flexibility, improved body awareness and mobility, strength training or more.
Pilates
A full body 60min class focusing on maintaining Pilates principles. We will work on strengthening your core, focus on breathwork, increase body awareness, improve mobility, and of course increase strength and muscle endurance. All sessions are low impact and individualized to your goals. You should walk out of a session feeling challenged yet simultaneously taller and more relaxed.
Pilates & Strength Training
This class is for all those that enjoy strength training but also want the benefits of Pilates. We start out with a 30min Pilates session where we warm up the body, warm up the muscles, focus on everything that makes Pilates wonderful and then transition to 25-30min of functional strength training * working on the muscle groups warmed up during the Pilates portion. We then finish off with a 5-10min Pilates and Yoga cooldown.
*The strength training portion consists of bodyweight exercises, TRX moves, kettlebell work, resistance bands, weights and more.
Pilates & HIIT
This class is meant to leave you drenched from head to toe! Each session will start out with a 15-20min Pilates warmup and finish off with a 5-10min Pilates and Yoga Cooldown. The remaining part of the class will be a combination of HIIT circuits and Pilates jumpboard. All meant to keep your heart rate up and leave you tired, sweaty and refreshed.
Appropriate for those with injuries as well. Classes will be high intensity but low impact.
Pilates for Athletes
Regardless of what sport you participate in, Pilates can be great form of cross-training. Whether you are a triathlete and need to increase strength, or a baseball player needing to improve rotational power and even out muscle imbalances, or a runner with tight hips— Pilates can be for you. Each session is focused on you and your needs and your sport. We will always start off with a fitness screening to figure out your goals and your needs. From there I design each sessions purposefully to help you make the most out of your cross-training session. If available, I will also work with your coaches, athletic trainers and physical therapists to further refine your Pilates sessions.
